Vegucated is a recently released film that takes the audience on a journey that just might encourage them change the way they view the animal foods on their plates. Marisa Miller Wolfson has created a funny, engaging, and clever film about the journey towards a vegan diet. Throughout the film we share this journey and learn alongside three adventurers willing to take on the vegan challenge: no meat, dairy, or eggs for six weeks. Three meat-and-cheese loving folks learn about healthful ways to maintain a vegan diet, experiment with new vegetables, and explore foods that are ‘accidentally vegan.’ Perhaps most importantly, they learn about the animal industry that puts meat on the table, including all the devastating ecological and health consequences of such mass production. Needless to say, the footage is horrifying and sad, and it’s enough to inspire these folks to stick with a vegan diets throughout the challenge… and hopefully beyond! Share their journey and learn how to create “a kinder, cleaner, greener world, one bite at a time.”
